April Lockhart
April Lockhart (born July 4 April, 1995) began her musical journey as a 7th grader when she took piano and guitar classes. April's very first song was called Different, which she wrote when she was 12 years old. At the age of 14, April devoted a great deal of time to creating song concepts and practicing her musical skills. Over the next few months, she started taking notes together with her dad to LA as well as NY. April also began incorporating various other topics relevant to the Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure issues and suicide among teens. Lockhart has her own following and works as a lifestyle blogger at the popular Ilia clean beauty brand. Since she was born without a left hand, the woman is a major part of her. However, it's not the only thing she has to tell. Lockhart's Twitter profile does not shy away from her status as disabled, but neither does it concentrate on the fact that she is disabled. What message is it trying to convey? It is important to remember that everyone has numerous faces. Our identities are varied and we are much more than our bodies. I don't want that to determine me. I do not intend to become an influencer where that's all I discuss because there are so many other things about me. Lockhart says via video from her house in Nashville. It doesn't affect my life. All is well and I've learned how to make adjustments. In addition, I see that it is a crucial aspect of me. Lockhart is a huge inspiration to her fellow women in the area of self-acceptance. Still she admits she's gone through phases of her body at times not being confident in wearing particular types of clothes showing off her arms. Today, she wears whatever she wants and posts images of her outfits to social media with pride. The journey itself is the key thing I don't know that it will be an end about self-love. This is true for everyone, regardless of the level of insecurity. I think that having people with you who know you and see the depths of your soul is vital as they'll be the ones who remind you What are you concerned about?
