Bill Self, a popular and wealthy basketball coach, was born in the city of Okmulgee Oklahoma on the 27th of December 1962. Self was raised in the Okmulgee area where his dad was the basketball girls' coach of Morris High School. Self was given basketball scholarship to go to Oklahoma State University. He won the letter for the entire four seasons he played. Bill was a graduate of Oklahoma State with both a Bachelor's in Business in 1985, and a Master's in Athletic Administration in 1989.
